Image analysis

How do I get started?

Choose a picture from Photos or Files, use Camera, or share an image to PicJSON. Tap Analyze image and review the AI sharing notice. PicJSON creates a visual blueprint that you can edit and save to Library.

What if my photo will not import?

Open the photo in Photos first so it can download from iCloud, then select it again. You can also save a JPEG or PNG copy to Files and import that copy. Check that the image opens correctly before retrying.

What if I leave the app during analysis?

Once the server accepts the job, it can continue processing. Reopen PicJSON with an internet connection to retrieve the result. If the app offers Retry, use that action for the same request. A request that was not uploaded still needs a connection to start.

Using your prompt and JSON

Does PicJSON generate the final image?

PicJSON analyzes images and creates editable prompts and JSON. To generate an image, use the output in your chosen image-generation tool. Results depend on that tool and may differ from your reference.

How do I use ChatGPT or Gemini?

Select the matching destination in JSON Blueprint and tap Copy for ChatGPT or Copy for Gemini. In a new chat, choose the external tool’s image-generation mode and paste the complete request. If JSON is not accepted, expand Plain-text prompt and use that prompt instead.

Why does another AI tool refuse a request?

External tools control model availability, account access and content rules. A refusal does not necessarily mean the JSON is invalid. Follow the tool’s guidance and use content you have permission to share. Standalone generation describes the scene without an attachment; editing and animation workflows may require the source image.

Credits & Creator Pro

How are credits used?

Each analysis uses one credit. Editing, copying and exporting an existing blueprint do not use analysis credits. Settings shows your available balance and credit breakdown. Use Refresh balance after reconnecting if the balance appears out of date.

What is included in Creator Pro?

Creator Pro offers advanced analysis and 200 credits each month. Choose monthly or annual billing in the app. The monthly allowance resets and unused allowance does not roll over. Purchased wallet credits do not expire while your account remains active.

How do I restore access?

Sign in to the same PicJSON account with Apple, then choose Settings → Restore purchases. Your Apple purchase account must also match the purchase. Restoring does not duplicate credits or recreate deleted balances. Consumable credit packs are associated with your PicJSON account.

How do I cancel?

Open iPhone or iPad Settings → your Apple account → Subscriptions → PicJSON, then manage your plan. Deleting the app or your PicJSON account does not cancel Apple billing.

Account & privacy

Do I need an account to try the app?

The starter analysis flow uses a private anonymous session. Sign in with Apple before purchasing or restoring. Apple may share a private relay email instead of your personal address.

How do I delete my account?

In PicJSON, open Settings → your account name → Delete account and follow the confirmation steps. Apple-linked accounts require fresh Apple confirmation. This deletes your account data and credit balances and clears your local Library. Cancel any Apple subscription separately if you no longer want it.

Where do my images go?

With your consent, a selected image is uploaded to private temporary storage and sent to OpenAI for analysis. Temporary uploads are removed after processing. Read the privacy policy for processing, retention and account choices.
